Yin is a muscularly passive expression of yoga that communicates with the connective tissue, ligaments, and bones, Yin Yoga Positions unlike “yang” yoga which, in the physical body, targets stretching and strengthening muscles. Since we hold each posture 3-5 minutes, Yin provides a time and space for contemplative practice—a journey home. In these classes we will relax, revitalize, and dive into the mystery and miracle of this human body.
