Wooden Tissue Box Build

Spend the day on the Rondout Creek learning woodworking at the Hudson River Maritime Museum Wooden Boat School. During this introductory woodworking class, students will build their own wooden tissue boxes. Using mitered spline construction participants will build solid wood box sides then cut and shape the top and attach it with dado joinery. This simple and clean design will spruce up any tissue box. This class is perfect for the beginner woodworker or even for someone with no woodworking experience at all. Instructor Wayne will walk students through every step of the process. Please register by May 17.
