Wooden Joiner's Mallet Build

When: Sat., June 12, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Spend the day on the Rondout Creek learning woodworking at the Hudson River Maritime Museum Wooden Boat School! One of the more useful tools in a woodworker’s tool box is a mallet; a tool that is bound to save your chisels from that steel hammer! Starting with blocks of hard wood, we will cut, assemble, and finish pieces to fashion a traditional woodworker's mallet. A skilled instructor will walk you through the process. Please register by June 4. Learn more at www.hrmm.org/woodworking.

Price: $145
