Women's Suffrage: In Otsego County

Susan B. Anthony came to Otsego County in 1855 and again in 1874. She also appeared in Oneonta in 1894 at a statewide suffrage convention. The amusing and poignant story of Susan’s time here will be shared by the Otsego Town Historian who has researched local newspaper accounts for this information. The program will be held on the front lawn of the Swart-Wilcox House so bring your own lawn chair and wear masks. In case of rain, program will be cancelled.
