“The burning fires of Acadia!” -Le Télégramme, France The group is made up of seventh generation Acadians living separate but parallel musical experiences. Twin sisters Pastelle & Emmanuelle LeBlanc from Prince Edward Island, Canada have teamed up with Pascal Miousse from the nearby Magdelen Islands. Their captivating music is essentially Celtic, but with a difference. The songs are French. Foot percussion drives a fiddle tune but goes quiet in the gentler musical moments. Accomplished multi-instrumentalists and step-dancers, these musicians bring fiddle, guitar, accordion, pennywhistle, banjo, mandolin, piano, jaw-harp and bodhran into each awe-inspiring, joyful performance.
