Vassar Writer-in-Residence Gina Apostol to read from and discuss her work

Gina Apostol is the author of four books, which have earned her the Juan Laya Prize for the Novel, the Philippine National Book Award (twice), and the PEN/Open Book Award. Apostol’s books have been included in the Publishers Weekly Top 10 Books of the Year and have been named New York Times Editors’ Choice titles. Her essays and stories have appeared in the New York Times, Los Angeles Review of Books, Foreign Policy, Gettysburg Review, Massachusetts Review, and other publications. She will read from her work and discuss it. Audience members will be invited to participate in a Q&A.
