Tom Pacheco is one those mega-deep Hudson Valley music fixtures; a living link to Woodstock’s heady 1970s scene. This Saturday, the socially conscious singer-songwriter will deliver a seasonal “Peace Concert” at the Rosendale Cafe.

A veteran of ’60s bands the Ragamuffins and Eurphoria, Pacheco has waxed a shelfful of revered albums and seen his songs performed by both the Band and a solo Rick Danko as well as Jefferson Starship, Richie Havens, and many others. After 10 years in Ireland—the land of poets—Pacheco returned to the region and waxed the album many consider his best, 1997’s Woodstock Winter.

Here, he sings that album’s “The Hills of Woodstock” back in 2011:

Tom Pacheco will be accompanied by Brian Hollander on dobro at the Rosendale Cafe in Rosendale, New York, on December 15 at 8pm. Tickets are $15. For more information, call (845) 658-9048 or visit http://www.rosendalecafe.com/.
