Tivoli Bays Talks: Two Row Wampum

Jack Manno, a professor of Environmental Studies at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and Frieda Jacques, a Clanmother of the Onondaga Nation Council of Chiefs, will enlighten us about the history and future of the Two Row Wampum. The “Two Row Wampum” refers to the title of a 400 year old treaty between Native Americans and the Dutch founders of New Netherlands, which became New York State. The Tivoli Free Library is located in the Watts dePeyster Hall, 86 Broadway, Tivoli, New York 12583. Talks begin promptly. Admission is free.
