The Canada Lee Project

The Canada Lee Project explores his legacy as both an actor and passionate civil rights activist through an on-stage reading based on Hudson Valley playwright, Mona Z. Smith’s original play about Lee as well as her critically acclaimed biography. Characters include many of Lee’s well-known contemporaries including Orson Welles, Langston Hughes, Talullah Bankhead and Ed Sullivan.
