When: Sat., Nov. 19, 8:30 a.m.-4:40 p.m. 2016
With Zachery Dacuk. For centuries we have learned anatomy through a reductionist lens. This anatomy workshop is designed to approach the anatomy from a relationship-based perspective. By understanding the interconnectedness of the body, we are better fit to guide ourselves and others through the process of yoga. You will come away from this workshop with a deeper understanding of the scaffolding of the body in terms of the skin, fascia, muscle, tendon and bone and their relationships to each other. You will also be given a few tools to experience the anatomy as well as to recognize the alignment within any pose or posture.
