Join Five Points For the Opening Reception of “Rikyu - CHA,” a solo exhibition of Raimi Slater’s small paintings, which will be in the TDP gallery. Also, in the East and West galleries, “No Man’s Land: Women and Abstraction,” a group exhibition. Historically, abstract artists predominantly have been men; in this exhibit, Five Points has turned the tables and chosen women as the featured artists. Their works include paintings, drawings, sculpture, constructions, and printmaking. The eight artists in the group show are Harriet Caldwell, Susan Hackett, Lyn Horton, Rosemary Laser, Xanda McCagg, Laura Mosquera, Julie Shapiro and Kate Ten Eyck.
