Summer camp is not just for kids anymore. The idea now encompasses not only residential and day camps for kids but also ongoing instruction for kids of all ages. There is a plethora of adult instruction available to enrich your life. You may have something that you’ve been interested to learn and put it on the back burner, or maybe life has become too mundane and a new hobby can aid in shaking up your routine.
The emphasis, of course, is still on the kids and developing their well-being and providing them with opportunities to grow mentally and physically, and develop social and leadership skills. The summer camp environment allows children to take healthy risks in a safe and nurturing environment. But most of all, summer camp is about having fun!
