Stargazing on Leap Day at the Catskills Visitor Center

Come to the Catskills Visitor Center for a tour of the winter night sky and to see the moon up close.
If you want to learn more about our night sky, the Catskills Visitor Center will be hosting a Star Party on Leap Day. Steve “The Dirtmeister” Tomecek, writer for National Geographic, will be our guide for the event and participants will be given a Star Map and shown how to use it. There will also be telescopes set-up for viewing the moon, Venus, and other celestial objects. Meet outside the Visitor Center and bring your favorite reusable mug for a cup of cocoa or tea!
