Standing on Their Shoulders: 101 Years of Voting and Still Marching for Women's Rights

When: Sun., Sept. 19, 2-4 p.m. 2021

The Opening Reception for the exhibit celebrating the centennial of the 19th Amendment recognizing women's right to vote will feature live music on the porch by award-winning singer/songwriter Pat Lamanna, who performs songs that were popular during the struggle for women's suffrage as well as contemporary tunes honoring women's accomplishments. The exhibit of vintage photographs based on the activism of Elisabeth Freeman (1876-1942) and Edna Kearns (1882-1934) is open Fridays and Saturdays 1-5 pm from September 18 to October 24.
