Solar System in Your Pocket

When: Mon., Feb. 10, 6:30 p.m. 2014

Astrophysics Educator Brian Levine, is coming to SUNY Orange to present an enlightening program entitled Solar System In Your Pocket. This interactive presentation should prove to be fun, too, as attendees will make a small model and can keep it. Each will be a basic exploration of the distance between objects, especially Earth-Moon and Earth-Sun distances, and demonstrates how huge the solar system is. Levine will also explain current events relating to NASA and other missions in the Solar System that are studying objects such as planets, asteroids, and comets.
