Sail Freight Apollonia

The crew of the Schooner Apollonia have been working over the past three years to transform the steel-hulled sailboat into the region’s largest carbon-neutral merchant vessel. Powered by the wind and vegetable oil, the Apollonia will sustainably transport goods and cargoes up and down the Hudson River, inspiring a new generation of carbon-neutral commerce in the Hudson Valley and beyond.
