Critically acclaimed singer and award winning piper Peter Walker performs songs and pipe tunes from 18th century Scotland to celebrate the birthday of the great poet Robert Burns.  Though best known today for Auld Lang Syne, Burns was famous in his own day as both the ploughman poet who charmed Edinburgh society, and as a folklorist who collaborated with several publishers to print collections of traditional songs from Lowland Scotland. Described as a “commanding” singer by a recent Boston Globe review, Peter Walker enjoys a varied career
