Restorative Yin Yoga focusing on the Yin (moon) energy in the body. Yin yoga is a form of Hatha yoga. Yin yoga centers on holding poses for prolonged periods to stretch the connective tissue and deepen meditation. Some believe Yin yoga is the oldest form of Hatha yoga, since it is the ideal method of physical conditioning for prolonged meditation, which was the principal concern of ancient yogic practitioners. This mostly-on-the-floor, meditative and mellow practice is meant to help you stretch, relax and unwind into your evening, ending your day balanced and calm.
