This program is focused on the concept of Survival and especially its depiction in Clive Cussler’s novel Arctic Drift. The adventure story is set in the Northwest Passage and highlights some of the problems of climate change along with real and imagined technologies to combat it. Discussion will be facilitated by Red Hook High School teacher Mr. Bob Engasser. A short videotaped interview with the author will also be shown. Hot chili and cold soft drinks will be served and all are welcome.
