Parents & others who care for individuals with disabilities are encouraged to sign up for this free course. You’ll learn effective coping mechanisms to improve stress management in a workshop format developed by the Center on Aging and Disability at Mount Saint Mary College and led by a mom of a teen with an intellectual disability. There are 3 in-person sessions and 3 sets of on-line resources to explore on intervening weeks. The initiative is funded by the New York State Developmental Disabilities Planning Council. Commiserate and share your joys with other caregivers while learning new strategies and having good snacks. Registration is required as space is limited.
