Author Douglas C. Smyth will read passages from his novel, Princess Olga: Uncovering My Headstrong Mother's Venezuelan Connection, a novel about his mother, Olga, dreaming her past life, especially about a family mystery that led her, her mother and her two brothers to flee Trinidad in 1926. She was 13, but already thought of herself as a Princess. Olga Smyth was born Feb. 13, 1913 in Coché, Venezuela, as Olga de Quintero. She died Dec. 4th, 2014 at over 101 in Kingston, NY.
