Poem: I Want Boots

I want boots cowboy boots why
can’t I have them I don’t
understand it it’s never been fair
if you want that or this
no one commands you to forget
about it

I don’t care if they’re out of style
I want boots cowboy boots
and if you’re so concerned
I won’t go out I’ll stay home
and prop my feet on a rail
and admire them alone
