Poem: Ars Poetica

Winter poem—
dancing blizzard, a-sheen,
flying as northern finch
up to frozen tamarack trees
and listen, snow’s tales,
a Kalliope on high, and
like March-night fog when
you near you are not at all
sure it is there. Tastes of
ice so candid and cold and
like everything.
