Passion of Miss Augusta

A wildly self-sufficient female rejects a Byronic, self-obsessed man in order to pursue ambitions that break gender boundaries in 19th-century society. The Rosendale Theatre will screen Stone Ridge filmmaker Robert Clem's silent film adaptation of Augusta Jane Evans' famous novel St. Elmo, followed by a 10-minute showing of My Name is Oscar.
