Opening of the New Arts and Sciences Salon

This weekend will include evening talks by Dr. Luke Keller, an astrophysicist at Ithaca College, as well as a Saturday night outdoor guided stargazing event at 10:30 pm. (Visitors are encouraged to bring a blanket for laying in the grass, as well as their own bug protection.) Also on the menu of happenings is a culinary demonstration by Chef John Novi of Depuy Canal House, rock 'n roll covers by ACME Music Company, storytelling for kids, classical guitar, as well as an open mic session for anyone who has a short contributions in either song or poetry. The neighboring art school, Element, as well as Wired Gallery two doors down will also be open all weekend.
