Ontogenesis by Representative I

When: Sun., March 26, 3-4:30 p.m. 2017

Representative I is influenced by the modern Japanese dance form, Butoh. The group creates performance by investigating the body as biosensor, a feeling and psychological machine capable of directly displaying environmental information. They display a built structural field, embodying coordinates that interplay in birth, death, and the beyond. Their choreography opens to improvisation, where the moment is displayed, revealing what exists between the audience, performer, and the space and time that it occupies. Witness this unique performance and support Circle of Friends for the Dying, a benefit event toward opening, Circle Home, the first home for the dying in Ulster

Price: $30/$20 for students
