When: Fri., Sept. 15, 7:30-9 p.m. 2017
Mastrovito reimagines Friedrich W. Murnau’s seminal 1922 Nosferatu film into present-day New York through the depiction of over 35,000 original drawings and rotoscope technology. Created as a public art project that incorporates film, music, and community engagement, it aims at creating a poignant statement about immigrant rights in today’s world. Learn more about the project at NYsferatu.org. The free screening will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Magazzino’s courtyard, set to the musical accompaniment of the Marco Cappelli Trio.
