Anthony Vesnaver of Newburgh Vintage Emporium on Route 9W. Long-time vendors at the location, Vesnaver and partner Matt Smith bought the business in January 2019 and opened a second location, Newburgh Vintage Emporium Warehouse, on Route 17K later that year.

Newburgh native Genesis Ramos represents District 6, which includes portions of the City and Town of Newburgh, in the Orange County Legislature. Ramos is one of the youngest person ever elected to the Orange County Legislature and the first woman of color to serve as a legislator.
