Moths at Night

When: Sat., July 25, 8:30-10:30 p.m. 2015

Evening is a perfect time to observe and celebrate these remarkable, mainly nocturnal, butterfly cousins. According to environmental educator Pam Golben, "there are 15 times more moth species than butterfly species, but we are less familiar with moths because most moths are active at night.” Join Ms. Golben for an illustrated presentation about the moth life cycle, anatomy, and how moths differ from butterflies, then head outside to see what kind of moths the light “lures” attract.
