This introductory workshop will introduce tools based on the Alexander Technique (a 100+ year-old system of mindful movement) to allow your body to move better and feel better. Research has shown this technique to be effective at reducing chronic pain and improving posture, coordination, and balance. Get playful as we get curious about how we move-observing ourselves and others-so that we can become more aware of our movement choices and body balance. We will combine experiential anatomy and body mechanics with mindfulness and movement.
