"Monk" Dance and Visual art a Work in Progress

Top of the hour 1-2-3-4 and 5. A 10-15 minute dance demonstrations for the Poughkeepsie NY Open studios. Mayta fusion dance A local project based dance company stationed in Poughkeepsie, NY, Mayta Fusion dance weaves multicultural forms of movement together to foster global narratives and shine a spotlight on our universality and diversity. To use dance as a tool to bring awareness of our oneness, our connectedness, through performances, choreography and workshops. Mayta Fusion Dance will present a work in progress solo work inspired by the music of Thelonious Monk and in collaboration with a visual artist Emilie Houssart.
