Michael Franti & Spearhead Poised to Play Poughkeepsie's MJN Convention Center

Favorites of the Hudson Valley’s music festival circuit, Michael Franti & Spearhead are taking at aim the region once again with a June 30 appearance at the MJN Convention Center in Poughkeepsie. Tickets for the concert, which also features special guests Arrested Development, recently went on sale via copresenters Radio Woodstock.


A renowned artist, humanitarian, and award-winning filmmaker as well as musician, Franti is known for his high-energy live shows, inspiring music, devotion to health and wellness, worldwide philanthropic efforts, and optimism. “[S]ometimes we have to retune our minds to feel like we can have a good day because we’re not always going to get one,” says the singer about Michael Franti & Spearhead’s latest single, “Good Day for a Good Day.”

Remembered for their 1992 hits “Tennessee,” “Mr. Wendel,” and “People Everyday,” positivity-themed hip hop group Arrested Development was recognized with a 2019 Black Music Honors Award for their contributions to Black American music.

Michael Franti & Spearhead and special guests Arrested Development will perform at the MJN Convention Center in Poughkeepsie on June 30 at 8pm. Tickets are $59 (VIP $99; meet and greet with Michael Franti $129) and available at RadioWoodstock.com.
