Mark Stafford: Horror and Hope

In this presentation we will raise the question of hope. We will discuss the creation of messianic hopes, both apocalyptic and utopian, and how prophetic visions involves generating beliefs, including hope, that claim to redeem the world and relieve the subject of the burden of life. Presented by the Library and the Lacan Reading Group.
