Living With Bears

The Roaring Brook Lake Garden Club, in collaboration with the Roaring Brook Lake Property Owners Association and Tompkins Corners Cultural Center, invites you to a presentation on living with bears. In an entertaining and informative talk, Budd Veverka will share with us some of the findings from his research on black bears, their biology, habitat and habits. Budd Veverka is Director of Land Management at Mianus River Gorge in Bedford, NY. As the bears prepare to come out of hibernation in the spring, come learn a little about these neighbors and how to live safely and comfortably among them.
