Last Long Winter Hike at Minnewaska State Park

When: Sat., March 9, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. 2013

Cross mountain streams, climb hills, and travel through a section of the 2008 forest fire—which scorched 3,000 acres of the park—during one of the season's last hikes. The roughly five mile trip gives attendees the chance to see uncommon wildlife, including New York's only documented occurrence of the noctuid moth, Zale curema.
