"Jebah Baum: Gravitational Artifacts"

When: Sept. 11-Oct. 10

In his new prints and works on paper, Jebah Baum continues to celebrate the auspicious arrival and eventual entropy of form. Through repetition and layering, his shapes gather into masses that dissemble into gestures, lines and planes. Within his compositions Baum’s abstract figures can appear as sculptural elements isolated in amorphous spatial fields. While his work exhibits a deep connection to the materiality of things, nothing is in stasis and like the echoes resulting from an unknown explosive force, everything remains in motion.
