Get over the fear of pressure canning and preserve healthy soups, stews, vegetables, meats and other low acid foods. You can make & save your own “convenience foods” without additives and chemicals. Learn the basic science and how to’s of pressure canning. In this hands on workshop, see what equipment you need and give it a try. We will have a couple of pressure canners for you to work with and will can some local vegetables and walk you through the process. You will receive handouts and guidance towards trusted information sources. Taught by Susan Loxley-Friedle.
