Hudson Valley Balinese Gamelan Orchestras

Spiritually rich Gamelan tunes require intricate memorization and layered melodic themes using gongs, metallophones, drums, cymbals, and flutes. The night of music by talented Bard students, faculty, and community members will be accompanied by renown Balinese dancer Shoko Yamamuro, taking place at Bard’s Olin Hall. Seating is general admission with a suggested donation of $10; free for Bard students, staff, and faculty and children under the age of 16.
