On Saturday, June 22nd at 7:30 p.m., Tompkins Corners Cultural Center will present Gus Wieland performing songs from his newest CD, A Minstrel, A Poet, A Fool - and past compositions - with Tom Bitondo on Keyboards and Ed Murphy on Bass. Gus has played with Chubby Checker, The Turtles, alongside the founding fathers of Rock and Roll, and made appearances on some of the biggest music shows of the day, including The Midnight Special, Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert, and American Bandstand. Locally, he is known as the owner of Putnam Music Center, which celebrates 20 years next April.
