Visit the private gardens at Eastward in Brewster, plus the public gardens at Stonecrop Gardens in Cold Spring, open to benefit the Garden Conservancy, beginning at 10 a.m. No reservations required; rain or shine. Highlights include long beds of different color schemes fronting the horse paddocks, and a planted rocky outcrop with Japanese maples, conifers, and wildflowers at Eastward, and the 12 acres of display gardens, conservatory, and alpine collection at Stonecrop. Admission to each garden is $10 per garden; children 12 and under free.
