Visit The Brine Garden, a private garden in Pawling, open for self-guided tours to benefit the Garden Conservancy, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. No reservations required; rain or shine. This naturalistic, six-acre garden connects diverse ecological areas on a former dairy farm. Many mature native shrubs and trees combine with select nonnative plants to form a series of garden rooms with views joined by meandering paths. Duncan Brine, who works with his wife and partner, Julia, at GardenLarge, is a landscape designer and instructor at the New York Botanical Garden.
