Keynotes: "Educating our Next Generation to Eat with Consciousness," Pam Koch, professor, nutrition education and ED, Center for Food, Education, & Policy, Teachers College, Columbia. Plus a workshop, "Empowered Eaters: Making Connections through Food and Nutrition Education." (2) "Farming in the Valley Today," farmers from Columbia, Rensselaer, Rockland, and Ulster counties. (3) "Climate Change and Agriculture: No Longer Business as Usual," Mike Hoffmann, associate dean, College of Agriculture & Life Sciences; director, Agricultural Experiment Station, Cornell.
