Fall Festival: Theater Alive play reading “A Poem—A Mistake” by Cheri Magid, w Sarah Baskin

This highly acclaimed play follows the story of Myrrha, a grad student in the Classics who is grappling with how to make sense of the 50 violent rapes in Ovid's Metamorphoses. Characters find themselves in an Ovid-like landscape with magical and terrifying transformations. Free. Seating is limited; reserve a place on Eventbrite via the Shout Out Saugerties website. Dress warmly! Bring seating, arrive early to be safely seated. Wear a mask, of course.
