When middle-aged gay professional Daniel spots the undocumented teen Marek at a train station in Paris and asks him home, he is targeted by a gang of ruthless Eastern European youth. Nevertheless, Marek and Daniel’s relationship grows and shifts from sexual favors to a pseudo father-son bond. As Daniel learns more of Marek’s life in his native Chechnya, he acts to rescue him from the gang. The film will be introduced by Abdulhamit Arvas (Drama) and a post-screening discussion will be led by Giovanna Borradori (Philosophy).
