Dreaming of a Vetter World Film Screening

When: Wed., Jan. 15, 6:30-8 p.m. 2020

Join us for the next presentation in the Rhinecliff Sustainability Series. Backyard to Table is sponsoring a screening of a documentary feature film by Bonnie Hawthorne. In 1953, Nebraska farmer Donald Vetter quit spraying chemicals on his crops in order to farm in harmony with nature. His farmer neighbors questioned his sanity. Then, when his son David came back to the farm from seminary with a mission to “minister to the soil,” bets were made on how long they’d last. Today, they’re considered regenerative organic pioneers.
