DIY Wooden Pen Turning

When: Sat., Sept. 25, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. 2021

Spend the day on the Rondout Creek learning woodworking at the Hudson River Maritime Museum Wooden Boat School! During this introductory woodworking class, students will use a lathe to create two of their own wooden pens. Participants will learn wood prep, turning and pen assembly. No prior woodworking or turning experience is necessary. This class is open to all skill levels and is perfect for the beginner woodworker.
