Concerts in the Village (CITV) concludes its seventh season with Haydn and Cherubini– 18th c. Elegance meets 19th c. Drama. Under the direction of CITV Artistic Director David Smith, the Broad Street Chorale, Broad Street Orchestra, and soloist celebrate one of the most exciting periods in music history. Program: Joseph Haydn’s brilliant Sinfonia Concertante, Luigi Cherubini’s "Cantata on the Death of Joseph Haydn," and Luigi Cherubini's magnificent Requiem of 1816.
