Teachers: Lama Kathy Wesley, Lama Repa Dorje Odzer, and Jan Tarlin. This retreat will review Tibetan Buddhist approaches to healing; coping with illness; and the stages of death and rebirth. The retreat is suitable for caregivers, for people who are themselves facing serious illness or death, and for those who simply wish to develop their mindfulness of the impermanence and fragility of this human life. Participants will learn several brief, simple practices from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition that anyone can do for others or for themselves in times of health crisis.
