The Cragsmoor Historical Society opens the holiday season with this special presentation by Trish Chambers Production which has researched the traditions of 75 countries around the world. The program will include the origins of many of our modern Christmas customs, where they came from and how they are blended with ancient rituals. It will also explain how different countries celebrate the holiday and what symbols like trees, bells, colors, and plants mean in this context. The inspiration for some of the most cherished Christmas stories and songs will also be revealed. The program benefits Cragsmoor Historical Societiy and Stone Church.
