Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair or standing while using the chair for support. It is beneficial for people with limited mobility. It will improve flexibility, increase strength and reduce joint strain. Incorporating breath work with the poses can help clear the brain of unwanted thoughts, improve mood and decrease stress. This class can benefit people with Parkinson’s disease, MS, Rheumatoid Arthritis and other auto-immune diseases, as well as those recuperating from surgery.
